About Carnegie Museum of Art Custom Prints
We offer a wide range of images from our collection available for purchase as top-quality print reproductions. Our collaboration with technology and print specialists allow us to offer a host of options including print size, a choice of paper or canvas, and a range of framing styles. The prints can be a keepsake, gift, or wall decor for your space. All the printing and optional framing happens in the United States with orders custom-produced and shipped for delivery in two weeks. Because everything is made to order, sales are final and non-returnable.

The products in our custom prints store are exclusive to Carnegie Museum of Art. Though you may see some of our images being sold elsewhere through commercial websites, they will not be of the same quality.
About The Products
PRINTS ON PAPER:

Printed with archival quality pigment inks on high-resolution, large format 12-color printers, the substrate is an acid-free and lignin-free 230gsm coated fine art paper. The bright white base color and smooth matte finish allows for the highest quality reproduction possible. When framed, a three inch double mat is also included with a 4-ply buffered matboard in a natural white color. Glazing is in high quality acrylic for safety in shipping.

PRINTS ON CANVAS:

All canvas prints are hand-stretched over wood stretcher bars and are ready to hang whether framed or unframed. The wood bars are cut and assembled so the image occupies the entirety of the front plane of the stretched canvas with no cropping and in the native proportions of the image. When the canvas print is selected unframed, the stretcher has a deeper, 1 ½ inch profile with the side edges in an antique white color. The side edges are hidden when the canvas is framed. The base color of the canvas is bright white to ensure vibrancy and accuracy in the reproduction of colors. Printed with archival quality pigment inks on high-resolution, large format 12-color printers, the heavy, 350 gsm, acid-free, cotton canvas has a tight, natural weave. A semi-matte UV coating is applied after printing both for protection and to enhance the depth and richness of the image.
